Upon seeing the news on TV that her son had passed away in Shanghai, Ke Shou-liang’s mother had an emotional breakdown. Ke’s own son hurried to Shanghai this afternoon to take care of matters. He was very somber and did not want to offer any comment.
从电视上看见儿子柯受良在上海意外死亡的消息时，柯母情绪崩溃，倒地痛苦。自柯受良出事当天（12月9日）下午，柯的儿子柯有伦紧急飞往上海处理后事。记者见到柯有伦的时候，柯有伦面色沉重，不愿发表任何意见。
According to reports from friends, Ke was found in his apartment this morning with no signs of life and was rushed to the hospital where doctors were unable to revive him. Whether or not his participation in three banquets the night before helped kick in an old asthma ailment causing his death will be determined by forensic reports.
至于柯受良的死因，根据友人的转述，是在九号上午十点多钟，被人发现身处家中没有生命的迹象，在紧急送医后不治死亡。由于他在八号晚间曾参加过三场酒宴，是否因此引发哮喘旧疾而死亡？上海的公安部门法医正在调查之中。
Upon hearing the news of his old friend’s death, Chu Yan-ping felt saddened and surprised. Although Ke had jumped the Yellow River and Great Wall in cars, Chu said his friend was at an age where he wanted to make a transition.
